Queen Bee

I'll lay down in the garden

Under the maples

For the rest of my day

If you must live in the twilight

Between the joy and the sadness

Between the stars and the stain

Oh Queen Bee

Dark is the place where you left me

Dust are the days when you're lovely

Lost are the ways and the means

Oh Queen Bee

I long for the days where you'll hold me

‘Tween demons and gods, you is only

The distance between your wings

This world, it is a broke world

But between faults in the rubbish

Gardens are groomed

It's a hive for the queen bee

The day commences with weeping

And ends in a tomb

Oh Queen Bee

Dark is the place where you left me

Dust are the days when you're lovely

Lost are the ways and the means

Oh Queen Bee

I long for the days where you'll hold me

‘Tween demons and gods, you is only

The distance between your wings

But He of the Bee

Clings to your body so weakly

But the burden is heavy to bear

Heavy to bear

But to bear is to Birth

Give to me these sallow wings

This worthless crown and everything

Kept in the husk and fallen down

Along the shore along the sea

And rise to meet me wandering

Disrobed in a profanity

As a mantis who flew to the sun

But lost his home into the sea
